What's the deal

So much to catch up on! I figure I'll try and tackle it in thematic chunks. This entry: dealing!

So most recently, I am now officially certified to deal blackjack, and with that, I think I will now cool on dealer school for a while. What I've basically done is reached the minimum amount of certification to be able to apply with confidence at any Atlanticy City casino for whatever dealing job, and that's pretty much all I wanted to accomplish, once I decided that I'd be willing to deal table games as well as poker, should the opportunity present itself. I found blackjack to be my favorite game so far, aside from poker, but I'm still waiting to see how feasible it will be for me to avoid table games altogether. So far...I'm not sure it's looking that feasible. :) Still, we'll see. Anyway, so now with my certifications all done (for now), the only thing missing is my gaming license from the state agency in charge of making sure I'm not a mafioso. This lack of license, though, probably won't be too bad a stepping stone for my upcoming gig, as I will explain shortly.
