Jan. 2nd, 2005 12:47 amSo...this is one of those "This Isn't Really a Post" posts (and I'll leave the fallacious implications of that statement to the philosophers among you), but I thought it would be a good idea to at least get something out there before too much time in the new year elapsed, so here I am. It feels, to me, that much more time has gone by since my last post than actually has...my last post being about a month and a half ago. In that time, many holidays have occurred. Thanksgiving I spent with my momz in South Jersey. Christmas also. New Year's Day was spent at Chez Kthrin with the UES/El Barrio crew (
kthrin,
kawaiiryuko,
aplacental,
panyang, and myself). The rest of the time was generally taken up by television, poker, moping-in-the-bedhole, et cetera. General Rob nonlife life.
This post is by way of saying three things: One, I have not been reading LJ, e-mail, or what-have-you for quite some time. Two, I intend to rectify this situation shortly, in deference to both my responsibilities as a human and the metaphorical rebirth brought about by the turning of the new calendar year. Three, "shortly" in the above sentence is now officially delayed, as I will probably be going away again to South Jersey for a few more days. and I will be out of touch in a more logistical sense, rather than an emotional one.
So, yeah, there's that. Thanks for hanging in there, true believers. Like the governor of California once said...I'll be back.
