Short one

Stayed up way late last night and slept in a bunch this morning, so I got a really late start on the day. Didn't get as much work done as I'd wanted to while T was out. AA is probably around 75%. Should be able to finish tomorrow. If I make it a really solid work day, maybe I can do both GS and JS, but we'll see. My copy of Companions' Tale arrived today, and I am super excited! But I haven't opened it yet. Trying to keep this "work before play" thing going. :)

Anyway, I'm pretty sleep and heading to bed. Gonna try to put my shoulder into it tomorrow.

Solid day

Finally a productive day I can feel good about! I shipped AA (kinda...more about that later) and also shipped JS. Figured it was better to knock out JS rather than GS, but I'll definitely get to GS tomorrow, and hopefully start TH? That's the plan, anyway. AA's one of those projects where I'm torn between doing "good enough" and doing "as good as I know I can." Like...I basically shipped an RC today that I know is not representative of my best work, but...it's all I had time for, really. And as much as it pains me, those are the kinds of decisions I have to make with financial considerations in mind. Like, I want to spend more time on it, but can I afford to? Sucks. Still...in the scheme of things, it's not a huge deal, and I think next week maybe I'll have more time which could mean a chance to revisit it and redeem myself. But, yeah...I dunno. I've said it before, and I'll say it again: money ruins everything.

So...terrible stomach day today. Man, did I spend the entire morning paying for having had a spicy dinner last night! Jesus Christ. And I sucked down plenty of Tums today, too. Maybe max Tums?! Probably not, but to be real: I lost track. Should be fine in the morning, I imagine.

Anyway. Gotta bear down next week. Gotta make sure to make deadlines on GS, TH, and DFA, gonna lose some time for family stuff, and gotta make sure everything's in order for me being away next week. Plenty to do. Looking forward to bed!
