Still workin'
May. 2nd, 2019 11:59 pmWelp. Did laundry today, hit my dailies, and managed to get almost a complete FaFDM edit in there. From cold start I managed to get all the content in, so tomorrow I can wrap up the production part, which is actually quite minimal this time around, and I don't even feel that late with it, since I still need an intro. I really only got that far because T had to go out tonight, so I went into evening work, as well. I would really like to take this opportunity to try and get ahead of things on this line, but I'm gonna be missing a bunch of time next week, so...womp womp.
So...originally I was going to head out to see C and MU on Friday, but I had to push that to next week, because there's just stuff I still gotta get done this week. So tomorrow is: finishing FaFDM, do a bit of recording for TH (but I think I can wait on the editing for that until the weekend), do a little editing project for GC (nothing big; not a whole ep or anything), and then hopefully get a whole ABP done, which I don't think is overreaching. There's plenty more on deck, but I'm counting on some weekend work time, so I'm not trying to overload Friday to rush everything out.
Also! Things advanced today on Project Crossroads, so that's looking like a go! I even preemptively got an extension because I'll be away so much next week, so that's a bit of a relief, too. No idea when that's public, though; could be a while. I'm having pragmatic doubts that Once Upon a Time in Jianghu is gonna go for me. I mean, there's still a couple weeks left on the KS, so I don't mind keeping hope alive, but...I dunno; at this point we'd still need a couple grand more to get in striking distance of me, so...we'll see.
Think that's about it. Well...on the personal front, T's aunt D had a brain bleed or something last night. (They originally thought it was a stroke, but no.) She's in the hospital and had surgery today and stuff, so that's what T was out doing tonight. That's a bummer...just saw her a couple weeks ago at Passover. Very little to be done, though, at this point; they're keeping her in the hospital, so it's gonna be a few days before there's any change there, I think. So that's happening. Seemed worth noting.
I'm up too late, but I got a lot of stuff done, so I feel okay about that. Heading to bed right after this, though, and then seeing what I can knock out tomorrow. And the next day and the next day. So it goes.
