Change-up!
Jun. 3rd, 2019 10:04 pmFinally got to shake that ear icon! It's been pod editing for, what, seven days in a row now? Took a nice break from that today to write up my GC post, and I got the whole thing done in one go! Well, to be fair, while I did finish all the writing bits during my scheduled work, I did have to take some overflow time in the evening to do the post formatting and the graphics and stuff. But still...it's nice to keep to the schedule for once. Hit my dailies today, as well, but didn't get any inboxing done.
Therapy got canceled for tomorrow, and at this point it's still unknown if I'm going to have ABP, so tomorrow may be a good day for (1) groceries and (2) inboxing. Actually should probably tend to some administrivia before inboxing, but still. The point being if I suddenly wound up free tomorrow, then I wouldn't be sad to have the work time.
The only downside to hitting all my goals today was that I didn't have time for video games. ;) I mean...that's kinda the point, and it's good that it shook out that way, but it may mean I'm not balancing well, either, so...I don't wanna burn myself out. Still and all...feeling good about building up some backlog so I don't have to fret about Atlanta. Might even be able to squeeze in a Jersey run this week, so we'll see.
I got some nice feedback from OtT folks, so that feels nice. I dunno. I feel like I'm wrapping the day up almost being on top of things, which is...I dunno, pretty rare and amazing. :) I'm even getting the blog post in a little early...maybe I'll have some time for XCOM tonight after all. ;) T has some dorky late-night board business to attend to, so...left to my own devices, yeah, I think I could see my way clear to a little goofing off before bed. In any case, tomorrow's a bit of a question mark, but I know I'll have stuff to fill it one way or the other, so...no worries. Onward.
