Blogging has taken on kind of a weird texture for me lately. Trying to get a new substantive post up has given me the feeling that I'm trying to rejoin a conversation in progress, only I've recently been distracted and have not only forgotten what I was going to say, but also managed to lose track of what we're actually talking about. I guess it's not a super-new situation or anything...there have definitely been times in the past when I wrestled with "blogger's block." So, really, I'm just going to try and spew out an update and move on, despite all my recent efforts at delaying this moment by posting links and quemes.

P.S. Spotted on the Internet: A banner ad reading: "Sure, it worked for The Simpsons. But experts do not recommend deliberately infecting your kids with chickenpox." Really? We need an ad for that? I will be truly horrified to learn that this has become a problem somewhere.

P.P.S. Tonight on Bravo, Inside the Actor's Studio (8 PM?) will feature Dave Chappelle (back from his self-imposed exile), if anyone's interested, so I think I'll be catching that. (I also caught Screwed on TV the other day; any Dave Chappelle is good Dave Chappelle.)

P.P.P.S. Retarded computer UI design decision of the day: My Windows dial-up informed me that the connection couldn't be made because my username/password was incorrect. It then gave me a chance to try again, so I did. It then redialed and attempted to make a new connection...without giving me a chance to change my username and password. Thanks, guys.
