Dec. 4th, 2010 05:49 pmYes, friends, it's time for another round of "No More Drugs...For That Man." You know it's been well over a year since the last time we played? Well, it has.
Today's round I find extra-fun because, unless I am very much mistaken, I can be pretty well assured that no drugs were actually involved in this piece, because it was penned by one of my favorites around these parts, John Scalzi. (Why am I so assured? I trust the man. Don't ask me why I remember things like that.)
In any case, without further ado, I'd simply like to point you toward "A Bitter November." I don't really know how to give it an intro; you just need to read it. Go ahead, I'll wait.
All done? Very well..."No More Drugs...For That Man." And let me add the John Scalzi rider: "...Still."

And what would this game be without a bonus round? Near the aforementioned entry in the Whatever, I was also pointed to a video interview with said Scalzi, during which I was exposed to a (thankfully unrelated) photograph that I hadn't seen before, and yet really feel I should have. Ladies and gentlemen...no more Bud Light...for that man.

Unrelated to all of the above: Happy birthday, Mom!
