The problem with working for a megacorp is that while I have access to the financial data of hundreds of companies, exchanges, and have near limitless power in crippling major products that our company provides to clients, I can't change our internet proxy rules. :( (I have to remote-desktop to a machine, and then VNC from that machine, in order to even get SSH access back to my home machine. ;) It's kinda of ridiculous.)

my science brain really wants to know about the longitudinal effects of this little gadget. i dunno if i trust any technology that spends extended periods of time lodged inside me without a significant amount of testing... on other people.

Maybe this is just my own mind being warped by spending too much time in the pornographic areas of the Internet, but I surmise that, should you wish you perform such a study, you would not be wanting for volunteers to participate.

Frankly, I'd almost be willing to fund the whole thing if I could reserve the film rights.
