Gentlemen, behold!

The Toy.

And, as a special bonus, I ganked this from [livejournal.com profile] jonnynexus, and he has an amusing tale to tell about the device here.

Man, that is hot. Too bad it's so (surprisingly) damned expensive, tho.

The problem with working for a megacorp is that while I have access to the financial data of hundreds of companies, exchanges, and have near limitless power in crippling major products that our company provides to clients, I can't change our internet proxy rules. :( (I have to remote-desktop to a machine, and then VNC from that machine, in order to even get SSH access back to my home machine. ;) It's kinda of ridiculous.)

It makes you want to cry sometimes.

my science brain really wants to know about the longitudinal effects of this little gadget. i dunno if i trust any technology that spends extended periods of time lodged inside me without a significant amount of testing... on other people.

moreover, wouldn't it be great if you worked IT at The Toy's manufacturer.

hello and thank you for choosing The Toy, how may i help you today...?

[this might be the most disturbing and amusing thing to come along in a while]
