Okay, so...today was...fine? Good, even? But not as expected, per usual this week. Amazingly enough, the valve job did go off, though like an hour and change later than I expected. I didn't use the time for pod mining (as maybe I should have), but I made good dailies progress and also took a couple hours out for some personal coding, so that was actually really satisfying. Then I went out on a grocery run...just sort of a generic re-stock, not with the special list (which will probably be next week). However, I also did a bunch of cooking today. During the day I went back to gruel life and cooked up a bag of barley, which was exciting. "Exciting." I had also picked up groceries for dinner, or at least supplemental dinner, so I did a little evening shift cooking today, too. So domestic! Otherwise I pretty much just hit dailies, but it's nice to get that done and get errands and chores in there, too. Makes it feel like a pretty full day. :)

That means I really gotta bear down on pod mining, though, for the remainder of the week, which is...well, a bed I made myself, so I can't be that upset about it or anything. :) On the upside, I think all the domestic stuff is handled, so I should be able to have a couple pretty solid work days tomorrow and the next day.

I think that's pretty much it. Felt good to get some coding done, though it reminds me that I guess I'm not really in fighting shape to go out and kill it in the workforce. Which is fine. It's just...yeah, just gotta keep that in mind, I guess. Still. Feels good in that kind of "riding a bicycle" way. Which reminds me I'd like to get back on a bicycle again, too. :) But ANYway. Yeah...not much to write about today, but it was pretty productive and I'm feeling pretty good about it. Hope the rest of the week goes this well. :) Onward!
